Molten salt heat storage and peak shaving
The heat storage and peak shaving of molten salt includes a heat storage system and a heat exchange system. The heat storage system stores the heated medium (molten salt), and the heat exchange system uses high-temperature molten salt to exchange heat with water when power generation is needed, so as to generate high-temperature and high-pressure steam to drive the steam turbine unit to generate power.
The molten salt energy storage system includes high-temperature molten salt storage tank, low-temperature molten salt storage tank, heat exchanger, and supporting auxiliary systems such as pipelines, instruments, electric heat tracing and heat preservation. The heat storage power of molten salt can reach 100 MW level, the heat storage capacity can be more than 10 hours a day, and the service life can reach more than 30 years.
